| Siraj shed including eye caps. Her shed was kind of bad this time. Even though she got it all off. We believe that the humidity in the tub was not real good. Katie said that can happen often when you have snakes in a rack system. Next time any of them go into shed we will make sure we are misting them a few times a day. So they have adequate humidity. |

| Katie called today to let us know that Dr. Maas had called her in reference to Siraj. He said he would like to have Siraj come back in for a recheck. I asked Katie if she thought this could be bad news, and she assured me, that Dr. Maas probably just want to check Siraj himself. That way he can look at everything with own eyes and feel the lumps with his own hands. We will get her an appt. as soon as we can get back over there. We know this is not an emergency, however We will get her in sooner rather than later.. |

| Today we took Siraj to see Dr. Temple @ Avian Exotics Animal Hospital where katie goes. Dr. Temple did a full physical examination and we provided her with Siraj's entire tracking history. Physically she said Siraj looked great. Dr. decided it would be best to do a fine needle aspiration of one of the lumps, with this they insert a needle into one of the lumps and draw fluid from it so they can look at it under the microscope. Afterwards she told us the fluid was clear and she did not see a cause for concern.. She did say she would have Dr. Maas take a second look when he came in to be sure he didnt want to do any further testing. There was one specific lump in the bottom part of her body that she said could have been a broken rib that healed wrong and she was sure that is what it was, but that was nothing to be concerned about. |

| Today we noticed some lumps on Siraj. DeAndre had her out and he had stretched her between his hands and he pointed out these lumps that run all the way up her body. I called Katie M because her babies Brad and Lumi have lumps on them, and it ended up being associated with Kidney problems. When I called Katie she told me that the lumps on Lumi and Brad were soft. Siraj's lumps are hard. Now I had noticed these lumps on Siraj long ago however I did not think anything of it....I just thought it was the way her body was positioned. katie is going to help us get into see Dr. Maas at Avion Exotics . Hopefully this is something that can be taken care of. |

| Siraj regurgitated the rat pup we fed her. Upon speaking to Siraj's previous owner Zoe, I found out that Siraj had regurgitated before but she could not recall exactly when. Zoe had mentioned that Surnames are more prone to regurgitation than other subspecies and type localities. After DeAndre did some research we decided we would wait another 2 weeks before we would try and feed her again. |

| Attempted to feed 1 F/T Rat pup when we got her home but she refused. We tried presenting the prey in her feeding tank and also on the floor outside the tank both times she showed no interest at all. We even tried covering the tank and leaving her alone for a while. Deandre tried putting the prey in front of her and even on top of her head and body Siraj just climbed over it and even curled up with it. We decided to let her adjust to her new habitat and environment and we would try and feed her again in a few days. |
