| We noticed that Mia had some shed stuck to her mouth and that is what was making it swell up and have some excess saliva. I was able to spray her with some water to moisten the area up and used clean tweezers to carefully peel the shed from the inside and outside of her mouth. I then used some of the Childrens Listerine Smart Rinse on a Q tip to clean and disinfect the area.
As soon as I was done her mouth was back to normal, and she was doing just fine. |

| Mi' Amor has been urinating about 2 x a day. I have asked A vet and a good friend that has a ton of experience and they both said that if her urates appear normal then it should be nothing to worry about, at least her kidneys are working and she is definitely not dehydrated. She has been drinking a lot of water, it seems like everytime I see her, she is just pulling her head out the water bow. |

| We got Mi' Amor from Crystal & Rock today. They rescued her in the beginning of May 2010 from a couple that had not been properly taking care of her, Rock & Crystal did provide Mi' Amor with vet care and provided us with a copy of the vet paperwork, she had been diagnosed May 8 with an upper respiratory infection and she gave birth on May 8 to 5 slugs and 3 live that died within 15 minutes of being born. One baby was born with its organs ( heart ) on the outside of the body. Crystal & Rock were unaware that she was gravid when they got her. Mi' Amor had not been eating and they thought it was just because she was sick, after she had the babies and her first Baytril injection she did start eating for them. When we got her she was still extremely small and we were very worried, she seems very fragile. It appears she may have had a couple of broken ribs per the real hard spots that are on her lower body closer to her tail. DeAndre and I are gonna work on getting her healthy again, up to weight and to the size and health she needs to be.. We will not be breeding her again for a while. |

| 5 slugs. 3 born breathing. The firs born alive was not developed. Innards were hanging out. The other 2 stopped breathing after about 10 to 15 minutes. Can't believe those dum-dums bred her while she was so thin and sick. =/ |
