| I went in and observed cash for a while today while he was in his tub and he seemed to be good. I took him out for a while so I could closely check him out. We did not hear any of the popping sounds, nor did we see any bubbles coming out of his nose. We will continue to watch for any significant changes. |

| Today while I was holding Cash I heard a faint popping sound. Upon further inspection I noticed a bubble coming from his right nare. I am wondering if this could be associated with a shed cycle, He seems as if he could be in a dark phase right now, however we do not know when he last shed. Sometimes Boas can exhibit RI symptoms during a shed cycle. We will increase his heat and also raise his humidity, and make sure to observe him closely to ensure he is not getting any worse. |

| We got Cash today from Petco in Bremerton 377-9112. We believe cash to be a male however he will need to be probed to be sure. And he could be an 09 breed, but there is really no way to tell especially considering he came from petco. He is a BCI but beautiful, he has a hole in each of his saddles. In some threads DeAndre read on RTB.com some argued that this could be called a "jungle" ( Although we wish, we dont believe he is a jungle.) He is very Docile and sweet. We are going to quarantine him for a whil. We were told he last ate on 05-11-2010 However they were unable to tell us what he had been eating and how often, there were no kind of feeding records at all. We will start feeding him on our next scheduled feed day. He will be housed in a 15 Qt. Sterilite tub in our rack system. We use Flex watt heat tape as the heat source, and newspaper substrate.. He seems to be adjusting well. We basically got this snake for free, and he is a pleasure. our daughter already loves him too.
Before we got him, someone else had bought him, and then returned him 4 days later. It took us a while to find out why, but after talking to another manager, the guy that purchased him had to move real quick so he could not keep him. They said for sure he was not returned based on health issues or aggressiveness. |
