| Bliss had babies today, however none of them survived. 10 slugs, 2 still born 5 babies born alive, however they were not viable. Bliss did not stay on the heat much, even though the temps were perfect so it seemed that the babies were a little under developed. None of the babies had even developed color yet. |

When we got Bliss on 08/31 she weighed 5660 g = 12.4 lbs. On 09/06 we introduced Onyx into her enclosure for breeding. We have not witnessed any copulation or ovulation at this time ( However we have thought a couple times they were locked). Bliss has only eaten twice but she has gained Approx. 2.5 lbs since we got her.
After talking to some other people regarding this they confirmed what Vin Russo said in his book "Not all females will go through a POS" (post ovulation shed) Bliss has been laying on her side a lot and coiling very tightly on the heat. |
