| Today we bought Lyric from Mike & Teri Mertens ( 2833 W. Rowan Ave. Spokane WA 99205 (509) .327.4965) She was purchased as a Colombian Red Tail possible Het Albino Female. However as soon as Deandre took a closer look he swore she was a Jungle. Deandre went and spoke to a friend and people agreed that she was a Jungle. I went back to speak to Mike Mertens to try and get some lineage info on her. Come to find out the Dam was a normal with Beautiful Salmon coloring from head to tail, The Sire was a Pastel 100 % Het Albino. However the Grand Sire was a Normal Pastel Het Albino and the Grand Dam was a Coral Albino Jungle or possible Jungle He sais he wasnt 100% sure. We are thinking that Lyrics Sire could have been an extremely low expression jungle. I am going to try and email or call Mike Mertens and ask him to send me pics of the Dam & Sire. Mike did include a feeding record wich we have in written record. He was feeding somewhere between every week and 3 weeks. When I asked him what he was feeding her he couldnt really tell me for sure, based on what he described we think she was eating larger sized fuzzies. We are going to put her on a weekly feeding schedule every 7 days rat fuzzies. She has a great temperment and seems to be acclimating well. |
