| Lydia ate a nice medium sized rat two days ago and this evening we noticed a rather sudden increase in our girls size. She was definetly much larger (almost swollen looking) from mid body all the way to her tail. This was a very sudden increase in body mass and couldn't have possibly been just the rat. Feeling along side her body we observed areas that felt like lumps and she was a solid girl. Most likely we have observed OVULATION!!!!!!!!
Althought we have observed several instances of copulation we are unsure which male did most of it.
With the potential success in this pairing/trio already I have high hopes that we can get our other two big girls breed this season. |
