| Comments | Swollen tissue present outside vent area - fear she might prolapse again. Consulted vet - soaked in a solution of sugar water. Gave antibiotic injection and returned to cage ~ 8pm and area looked the same, maybe a little less swollen, though. Checked again around 2 hours later with the intention of making paper towels damp overnight, and found she had started to prolapse again. |

| Comments | Vet procedure to remove 2 slugs from within her prolapsed oviduct and then reinserted. Placed a stitch on each side of her vent. Was also given an antibiotic by injection and I am to continue with. Picked her up ~ 6pm |

| Vet Trip | Left with vet overnight for procedure to be done tomorrow to correct oviduct prolapse. Vet stated tissue looks in very good shape and commented that there was minimal swelling, which is a good thing. |
