My Reptile Interests

Been keeping for 22 Years, Herping for just as long. I love field herping and keeping. I am better known for my herp political posts, reptile photography, online radio show, TV work, WOAH, and many other ventures including eco-tours. I love anything odd and unusual from homalopsis to acrochords... chionactis... the unpopular stuff. Not too into balls, but I do like some of the Dwarf Retic Morphs. Usually if it is arboreal or aquatic I am going to like it.

PLAY
I am a self admitted Ophiophiliac or in other words snake fanatic. I love experiencing every aspect of the reptile community, from field herping to breeding. I have a deep fondness for rattlesnakes having grown up in the Mojave Desert, spending my childhood in bushes and rocky hills looking for animals. However I try to field herp and photograph everywhere I travel. I find photography can make a moment better than the memory itself. It's a visual time capsle, and a form of art I truely enjoy. At home I have worked with all sorts of snakes. From acrochords, to chionactis, to homalopsis, to dwarf retics and emmies. Seems my taste in herps to keep changes from time to time, but I am usualy pretty consistent in liking boids, rear fanged snakes, and oddities.
