My Reptile Interests

I am an animal junkie. Some people think I am a hoarder, for having so many animals, but each and every one of them is spoiled to the max. I have worked in a pet store for nearly 4 years, a year of that time has been spent being the manager of the pet care department. I used to work for a rescue, where I fostered dogs on several occasions. I currently live in an apartment, so with my animals and the limited space, its hard for me to accomplish fostering, but its something I would like to do in the future again.
My most current list of animals includes: 3 cats-2 boys, Bailey and Rufus (both Siamese) and 1 girl- Abbey (DSH); 1 Mini-Lop Rabbit, Pancakes, who is 4-years-old. Then comes the reptiles, which includes: 3 leopard geckos (2 giant-Pandora and Eclipse, 1 normal- Stubbs, because he is missing a foot), 2 bearded dragons (Sumo and Megatron), 1 Uromastyx (Kane), 9 Crested geckos, 2 Pictus/Panther geckos, 2 pac man frogs, 1 mossy leaftail gecko, 1 chinese water dragon, 1 sand boa, 2 California Kingsnakes and a partridge and a pear tree :)
I also am in the process of getting several rats...

I spend a lot of my time writing. I write mostly feature stories, music reviews, biographies & anything else I am assigned. Besides my obsession with reptiles, I also have an obsession with office supplies. I love shopping at Office Max, Staples & Office Depot. I spend most of my money on pens, paper, markers, etc. It's a really, REALLY bad habit.
When I was younger, I knew anything and everything about music. Alternative, Rock, Pop Punk, Emo, Indie are all of my favorite genres.

I FINALLY just graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint. After 4+ years, I "earned" my Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. After spending a good $45,000 to receive this degree, I have come to terms with the fact I would rather be doing something else concerning animals. My fascination with reptiles has become an obsession. As much as I would LOVE to return to school and study herpetology, the possibility is slim. Therefore, I conduct my own research on my free time and plan to continue. . .

I really enjoy zoos and areas that contain animals, ie. pet stores, shelters, etc. I spend a lot of time surrounding myself with animals.
