My Reptile Interests
|

I love snakes, have quite an array, and they are my babies and I give them the best treatment possible....they are very spoiled LOL I go field herping all the time just to see what I can find. I live in the Ozarks of Missouri, so there are plenty of awesome snakes, lizards and turtles in the area. I've been keeping reptiles since I got my first snake, a baby black rat snake I found myself, at age 17.
Since then, I've become the director of a Missouri reptile rescue, Clinton Critter Care, which not only rescues abandoned, neglected or abused reptiles across the state of Missouri but also holds regular reptile-focused educational programs at local schools and other youth groups to educate as well as to stress the importance of not releasing a non-indigenous species into the Missouri eco-system, as well as responsible reptile keeping and handling.

Design websites, coding & design, crafting, sewing, knitting, reading tarot cards, crochet, beading and jewelry making, walking in the woods, horror movies, spending time with my husband and friends, and computers/the internet.

Music

|
I like hard rock/heavy metal. Favorite band is Placebo, also like Korn, NIN, Theory of a Deadman, Three Days Grace, Superchick, Pink, Pink Floyd, Disturbed are all favorites along with Green Day, Billy Talent, All-American Rejects, and more. I also ADORE musicals, especially Les Miserables (10th Anniversary in Concert preferably, but the new remake isn't as bad as I thought it would be!), Phantom of the Opera, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Sweeney Todd and Little Shop of Horrors.

Love horror movies: Hostel, Saw, Cabin in the Woods, Mama, The Ring, The Grudge, Ghost Ship, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects, etc. Also love TV: SVU, Supernatural, American Horror Story, NCIS, Swamp Wars, Swamp People, lots and lots of Animal Planet. Favorite actor: Misha Collins. Favorite Actress: Anne Hathaway
