My Reptile Interests

As of right now (01/11/10) I've got 8 snakes. I have 1.0 '07 Normal Motley Corn (phet Snow), 1.0 '08 Black Milk Snake, 0.1 '08 Classic Corn het. Blood phet amel, charcoal, hypo, pied-sided, 1.0 '09 Blood phet amel, charcoal, hypo, pied-sided, 1.2 '09 Classic het Sunkissed Snow, and 0.1 Spider BP (who was a prize from Tim Bailey of Bailey Reptiles).
Next year, i'm hoping to get a female Black Milk, a few more Corns, and possibly a male Pastel BP to go with the female Spider (Bumblebees! :D). I'd also like to get a pair of Trans-Pecos Rats.
I've also got a list of what other herps i'd like to get in the near future. Just check my blog for that! :)
I've also been field herping a few times. So far this year (after going about 5 or 6 times) i've found a Black Rat and a Painted Turtle. I've also rescued a Common Snapping Turtle from impending death on the side of the road, and re-located it to a nearby lake. I plan on doing a lot more herping, though. :)

I absolutely LOVE the Kansas City Royals. I haven't been a fan for very long (Since early '07), but it was like love at first sight. When it's in the offseason (like it is right now) I go through serious withdraws. It gets bad, and I sometimes cry. (not really, but I do feel like it sometimes.)
I also love to knit. I'm in the process of making my niece a baby blanket. I'm hoping to finish it soon, but I get lazy and don't knit for a few weeks, and then get back to it.
Other than that, I also love the Kansas Jayhawks (KU!). I was at Allen Fieldhouse (The place that they play basketball) when we won the National Championship in '08. It was something that i'll probably never forget. It was an awessome time.
I love to get tattoos as well. I've got 5 right now. My first was done when I was 15, and my most recent was about 4 years ago when I was 20. I plan on getting more, but I need to decide what I want first. :)
So in a nutshell, it's herps, sports, knitting, and tattoos.

I use smiley faces way too much. I've got 3 cats (RIP Lewis) that are pretty much my life. I am in the process of learning Spanish so I can go to Puerto Rico and live there for a while (maybe). I'd at least like to visit for a month or two. It seems so beautiful. If I were ever to strike it rich, i'd do two things. First, i'd go to every major league baseball park in the US, and watch a game. Then, i'd build a house for myself, and another house next door to it. One would be for me, and the other would be for snakes. Then i'd lavish myself with a lot of beautiful snakes and hug them. :) Or breed them. That works, too. I don't know that i'd get that many, to be honest. I'd rather have a few high quality animals than a lot of mediocre quality animals.
My family means everything to me. I've got 3 older brothers - i'm the only girl and the youngest. I'm pretty much a tomboy, because I don't like many things that most girls do. I don't like to shop, and I don't dress up. I love sports, and I hate watching MTV and things of that nature. :D
I'd also like to travel the world and see all the beautiful snakes (and other creatures, of course) in their natural environment.
