I have been keeping reptiles since February of 2010.

I am an avid equestrian who loves the sport of dressage. I used to jump, but due to an accident that resulted in broken bones and reoccurring flareups of pain in my pelvis and hips I have stepped away from that discipline. I currently have seven horses on my farm. Most of them are retired and/or seniors. Only three are riding horses. In addition to horses and reptiles, I have dogs, cats, chickens, a betta, and a saltwater aquarium.

I love many genres of music. My preferences vary from time to time, but some of the artists who have always stuck with me are Eminem, Evanescence, OneRepublic, and Maître Gims.

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology. I also minored in biology. I love intertwining the two fields to help explain mental illness as well as to better understand psychopharmacology. The mental health care system in the United States frustrates me to a degree that I cannot put into words. The stigma surrounding mental illness greatly saddens me, and I hope to help eradicate that stigma over time by educating others.
