My Reptile Interests
|
|
I keep ball pythons, short tail/blood pythons, carpet pythons, variable kingsnakes, tokay geckos, gopher snakes, and leopard geckos. I've been actively keeping reptiles since 2004, starting with Issa, my first ball python. I have previously kept crested geckos but moved out of the project a while ago.
I was introduced to the world of reptiles at an early age. I think I was 6 when my dad brought home a turtle from the local area. We would keep them for a short time, and then let them go back into the wild. A few were relocated away from the road.
I would love to get out and do some field herping, but that means I've got to have time to go do it.

Other Interests

I read a great deal of science fiction and fantasy. I actually keep, breed, and sell tarantulas, scorpions, and sometimes other inverts. I brew my own booze, specifically mead (fermented honey). I enjoy target shooting. I play a mean game of poker. I enjoy taking photographs. I play world of warcraft and a few other computer games here and there.

I listen to music just about everyday and I have a huge variety of tastes. I've got everything on here from Enya to Ozzy to Emma Shapplin, which is opera, to Nick Cave and Tom Waits.
