My Reptile Interests
I'm currently in the middle of a down size right now from having Leopard Geckos, Fat Tail Geckos, Viper Geckos, Crested Geckos, Ball Pythons, Corn Snakes, and Jungle Corns to just having the Jungle Corns, Leos, and a few Balls. About ten years ago I started dating a girl who worked at a pet store and since then I have had all sorts of pets. Most of them were things people drop off that they didn't know how to take care of so we would bring them home, fatten them up, then rehome them. I have had a few birds: Parakeets, a Ring Neck Parakeet, Cockatoo, Love Birds, and Paralets. I have had several cats and dogs. I have had a few Different species of frogs: Whites dumpy, Red Eyeds, and some Tree Frogs that were the size of my fist(not sure of type). Turtles and Tortoises: Sulcatas, Ornate Box Turtles, Hog Nose, and a few others I don't remember the names of. I've had a couple different Chameleons: Veils, Three Horned and a couple different Panthers. Aside from the snakes listed I also had a Red Tail Boa breifly. I have had quite a few different other reptiles over the years (which I can't even remember them all): Blue Tounge Skinks, Water Dragons, Bearded Dragons, Basalisk, Mountain Horned Lizard. I've had a few Arachnids: Rose Hair, Pink Toe, Thialand Black,and Mexican Red Knee Turantulas, Black Widows, Red Claw and Emperor Scorpions. I've had a couple other interesting critters such as: Praying Manthis, Flower Manthis, Walking Sticks, and Pill Bugs the size of golf balls. For a short time I had a pair of Ferrets that someone just let go in the pet store. Not to mention all the aquatic set ups, Some of the more interesting things were probably the Rubber Eels, and the Lung Fish. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few pets it's hard to remember them all. :) Now My main focus is the Leopard Geckos, I've been building my collection slowly over the last couple of years and just started breeding in 2007. Hoping to have a website this year.
Other Interests
I'm a river rat, one of my farvorite things to do is ditch work on a hot summer day and head for the river. Summertime is my favorite time of the year. I love camping, fishing, ribeye on the barbeque, a game of disc golf, just anything thats out in the rays with my freinds or family. I really never cared for winter to much until just a few years ago when I became addicted to snow boarding. Now I have a reason to look forward to winter.
Music
I'm a metal head, My alltime favorite band is Pantera. Some of my other favorites are Slayer, Slipknot, Hatebreed, Ozzy, Down, Super Joint Ritual, Damage Plan, Mudvayne, Black Label Society, and 3rd Strike. Aside from metal I also enjoy some good old fashioned classic rock. I like me some Boston, Journey, Styx, foreigner, and of coarse Lynard Skynard. I play guitar, Not in a band, just something I do for fun. Nothing to brag about, but when no one's around I'm a pretty big rockstar, Oh yeah! ;)
Movies
I love comedy. I'm big on stand ups: Robin Williams, George Carlin, Jeff Dunham, Stephen Lynch, and of coarse the Blue Collar Guys. My favorite comedy movie is probably Badder Santa. Next to comedy I also love war movies, My favorite is Hamburger Hill. A few of my other favorits are: I Am Legend, Poltergeist, Super Bad, Enemy at the Gates, Saving Privat Ryan, and Office Space.
Professional
Never really had the attention span for school. If I'm not learning hands on, I'm not really taking it in. Don't get me wrong I love to learn new stuff, just not good at learning it from a book (unless it has a lot of pictures). :) I am self employed in the arts of Landscape Maintenance. I love what I do, getting my hands dirty is very rewarding for me. I have a lot of elderly customers, which I love helping them and making things easier for them. Its very rewarding. My work defenatly fulfills a need of acomplishment.
