My Reptile Interests
|
|
We currently keep multiple Cresties along with 2 carpet pythons and 1 beardie.
Mercedes has kept reptiles since August 2013.
Eric has kept reptiles his entire life, having a history with lizards such as beardies and skinks and iguanas.
We plan on breeding our crestie group within 6 months and have a stud lined up for our female carpet Nibbles.
We love beardies and will eventually bring more into the mix as well as more carpets and perhaps even a black and white argentine tegu!

Other Interests
|
|
Eric is heavy into firearms. He is a NRA certified weapons instructor and a professionally trained marksman.
Mercedes works as a barista in a local bakery and spends most of her free time caring for the reptiles and dogs.
|
|
Music
|
|
Both of us dabble in lots of different music and love everything from classic rock to more modern stuff.
Eric likes to turn on the local pop station and mock everything he hears. Eric absolutely hates all things 80s just for them being 80s. He plays no instruments.
Mercedes has played clarinet for 10 years and is still very involved in marching band through her younger sister. She much prefers the local rock station. Mercedes loves 80s rock, not so much anything else.

|
|
Eric loves The Last of the Mohicans, Congo, Black Hawk Down, etc.
Mercedes loves the brat pack classics like Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club.
Shared favorites include Harry Potter (Mercedes is a fangirl), Lord of the Rings series, The Fifth Element, Wayne's World and the many Godzilla movies.

|
Eric currently works in city maintenance after switching out of long career in weapons.
Mercedes works as a barista but has held positions as a server/bartender and a pharmacy technician.

|
Eric really is what got me into reptiles. I see myself continue to grow and learn so many new things about all sorts of creatures I never knew existed. Together we are building a hefty collection up and plan to do lots of breeding in the future. This really is our hobby though, something we both love and do for the fun of it, not for the money.
We adore our animals and we love to see how our relationship as a couple has blossomed through doing this together.
