My Reptile Interests
|
|
I currently keep a wide variety of reptiles. My favorite reptiles are Milk Snakes and Crested Geckos. I have kept reptiles since I was 7, and my first reptile pet was a Leopard Gecko. I do occassionally go field herping, both for herps and inverts.

Other Interests
|
|
When I am not feeding, cleaning, handling my reptiles, I am studying reptiles, as well as managing a reptile rescue.
|

Music
|
|
I prefer listening to country music, as well as some hip/hop, rap music. I do not play any instruments, I love drums but have never played.
|
|
Movies
|
|
I am a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings series. As well as The Matrix and The Bourne Trilogy. I would have to say my favorite movie is I Am Legend.

|
|
I am a Senior in High School. I work at a bookstore/cafe, which my family owns. I also manage my own reptile rescue.

I plan to attend Central Oregon Community College for my Senior year in high school, as well as taking a few high school classes. After graduating I plan to pursue a career in Zoology and Herpetology by studying Zoology at Oregon State University. During my Freshman year and the summer following I volunteered 3 days a week at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. Over the span of about one year I volunteered over 800 hours and was recognized as volunteering the most hours out of over 100 students. I have a passion for learning about reptiles, and all animals, and for teaching other people about the hidden beauty of nature.
