My Reptile Interests

I would like to start breeding certain herps and eventually quit my job and devote all my time to my new business. I finally found out what I want to do when I grow up. Just need to figure out what direction I want to take it.
Our area is HORRIBLE with pet stores that have NO reptile knowledge what so ever... It makes me cringe seeing the snakes covered in mites and Leo in the same cage with Beardies.
We have two girls and we LOVE taking our critters to schools for educational show-n-tells. I am known by lots of grown up and kids as the SNAKE LADY.

We ride our Dyan Low Rider every chance we get. Now ask me how many times we have hauled injuried snakes etc in the saddle bags... The best ever was transporting a 5+ foot black rat snake down the main drag in Joplin to our 10 acers. He was caught by this idiot at a gas station we stopped at. In the process of "showing him off" the snake got loose in his car. Three of the dorks bailed outta the windows and doors on all sides of the car. Ryan and I caught the snake. I wrapped him around my arm and hopped on the bike and off we went down Range Line. The stares I got was hysterical! The snake just had some scrapes but looked good when we released him at home 15 mins later. EVERYTHING WE DO INVOLVES ANIMALS!!!! lol

Movies

We don't have a lot of time for movies but we do watch the Discovery channel along with Animal Planet as long as they aren't showing the animal cops shows. I see that everyday at work at the vets office I don't want to see it on TV too.
I LOVE DR HOUSE... if I ever get sick please call him!

I have been a pet groomer for almost 20 years. Our vet specializes in dogs and cats only and our exotics vets in town I wouldn't take a cockroach to.When we have calls for exotics or herps it gets trasfered to me! haha If I can't offer advice or a soultion I recommend my vet in Nixa Mo, Dr. Hardy with JAMES RIVER ANIMAL HOSPITAL. He is worth the drive!!!!
