My Reptile Interests

I got my first lizards (pair of humble green anoles) when I was 8, and my first cornsnake at 11. I've always loved critters of any kind, but I confess that insects (mantids and moths especially) were my first love. I've always had a scaly friend of some kind, but right now my collection is pretty paltry. Being poor is such a drag!

I love fishkeeping. I have several aquaria, and focus on the bizarre and unusual. I especially like brackish fish. I'm also a big gamer! I love World of Warcraft, and my main toon is Thistles on the Gorefiend server. I used to fence, swim and practice a martial art called Bando (related to Muay Thai) but I don't really have the time or drive anymore.

Action! Adventure! Martial Arts! Ok, so my very favorite movie is "The Lion in Winter" (the old one), but that's embarrassing so we won't talk about that ; ) Actors... hmmm... Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, Michael Emerson, Andrew Robinson, Michael J. Fox... mostly I go for the old foreign guys with talent over the cute ones who can't act their way out of a box. I am also in love with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Nicole Kidman, Mila Jovovich and other super-foxy ladies.

I have completed 3 years of college, but am taking some time off. I work full time at a large petstore, and have been in the pet business since I was 16. I don't like the big business itself, but it's a great way to make contacts and the employee discount is a lifesaver.
