My Reptile Interests

I've been in the field since I was six or so, so that's about 20 years now. I've kept a little of everything, if not in my personal collection, in the various places I've worked- husbandry practices evolve rapidly, and the reptile scene is constantly changing- I'm always learning something new. Recently, I've taken on the care and conservation of P. Lohatsara - uncommon enough that I've dubbed them "Party Geckos" for lack of a common name. :)

I try to keep my life as simple as my animals; I rarely succeed, but some day I hope to be as zen as the reptiles. I read, I write, I meditate, I go for a lot of walks, putz around with a camera that's got more buttons than I know what to do with, eat healthy, and spend time every day giving back to the community around me- I believe we keep that which we give away.
