My Reptile Interests
|

I have been keeping reptiles since early childhood. I have an interest in all things reptilian, and I hope to pass this fascination to my children. I currently keep a small collection of Chondros.
De-bunking chondro myths such as, they can't be handled, are mean and nasty, are only for experts, are hard to breed, the eggs are difficult to hatch......and all the others I hear.

Hanging out with my family and friends. Cycling.. I love pushing myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I am still excited to ride after 25 years of being involved in the sport.

I make a living off of other people's mistakes and misfortunes, and in the summer of 2014 I will retire from this profession, and be a full time nursing student.

I like to read and given a chance I will consume most things that are written.
I enjoy educating people just how wonderful reptiles can be as pets.
Ask yourself "What am I doing to insure the future of this hobby?" "Are you sharing your passion for reptiles with other people?" Especially young people, they are the future of our hobby. Take the time to encourage and mentor young people interested in our hobby, and never dismiss them because of their age.
Several recent psychological studies have shown that fear of snakes is a learned behaviour, take the time to teach someone to not fear snakes....our world will be better!
