My Reptile Interests

I caught my first snake (garter) when I was 4 and have pretty much had some kind of herp in my care since then (I was born in 1977 so you do the math LOL). Burned through anoles as a kid before settling back into primarily snakes. My first serious animal was an amel corn who is still with me. My collection is currently an eclectic assortment of snakes, a colony of Phyllomedusa sauvagei (waxy tree frogs) and we just added a found baby red-eared slider.

My other main hobby is the cultivation of carnivorous plants (I have something close to 500 species/hybrids.)
Additionally I enjoy reading (sci-fi and pure science) and whitewater rafting/kayaking
