My Reptile Interests
|

I started keeping reptiles when I was 17 (so almost 16 years now). Ive gone through a frog phase, a turtle phase, an insect phase, and a chameleon phase.. I bought my first crested gecko from a Petco that I briefly worked at and was HOOKED. Ive been keeping them for 13 years now and rehomed almost all of my reptiles to make room for cresteds..
In addition to the herd of geckos, I also own a Crocodile Skink, a 40+ year old box turtle, 6 cats and 2 pups. Ive kept just about everything except snakes at one point or another.

I read obsessively: scifi, fantasy, science, nature, environmental, biography, and history. Love to go on day trips to the state park near my house, or pretty much anywhere I can be outside in the woods..
and I work at a petstore (not so much fun, but takes up a lot of my time).

Ive worked at pet stores for about 10 years now, from big chains like Petsmart and Petco, to tiny mom and pop stores.. Currently working at a Petsmart as a merchandising manager.
