My Reptile Interests

I've loved herps since I was old enough to catch a frog. In second grade I brought a common garter snake to school for show and tell. I also hatched frog eggs and watched their incredible transformation from tadpoles to itty bitty frogs, and then released them. Nature fascinates me.
I got my first snake, a tiny baby Okeetee corn snake, when I was in my first year of college after helping a friend take care of some of his collection which included a couple corns. I named her Nathara. That's where the idea of breeding first started for me, but it wasn't until I got a boa that I really got the cold blooded fever. There has been ups and downs, but I love this hobby and these animals.

Despite being a fat chick, I love to hike, fish, camp, and be outdoors in general. I find it difficult to be away from the woods for very long!
