My Reptile Interests

Right now I have ball pythons, suriname red tail boas, jungle carpet pythons, Irian Jaya carpet pythons, green tree pythons, and brazillian rainbow boas. I also have a few red footed tortoises. I have been keeping herps for the past 15 years.

Other Interests

Keeping and breeding reptiles is what I do for fun. My other interests include scuba diving and underwater photography, weight lifting, and music.

Professional

I am a veterinarian. Although I have a strong interest in reptiles, I am a member of the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), and have had the privalage of working with many of the authors in Mader's text, this is really only an extension of my hobby. My professional activities are limited to surgery. Basically I do all the types of surgery that regular vets don't feel comfortable doing or don't have the equipment to do. I do get the opportunity to do some cool surgery on herps and other exotics.
