Copulation with [Amelanistic] Bindi first time together lasted around 25-30 minutes and Bindi left some evidence behind afterwards which is a good sign of success I believe :) .

Mercury currently weighs 583 grams as of Feb. 16, 2014.

She now weighs 665 grams as of 3/2/2014. I can tell she is stretching out already and sometimes I can feel the eggs in her already. Praying for the best with her since this is her first breeding season. Bindi is going to be the sire, I'm really excited to see what the babies will be like.

Seems to be full of eggs, but has not turned opaque(blue) yet. However, when I fed her 5 days ago she would only take one fuzzie mouse for me so maybe that is a good sign she will turn blue soon.

Even though Mercury is full of eggs and stretching a lot becaue of it.. she is still eating , although taking food less willingly than she usually does. It has been 31 days or so since her first and second time mating with Bindi-my amalenastic male. I have my fingers crossed she will do good for her first time laying eggs. :)

Mercury looks like she may just be staritng to go into her pre-lay shed. I'm hoping she is .. and she looks very slightly blueish but it's kinda hard to tell. Just crossing my fingers now for the best. I added a lay box and she is very happy with it and using it already so that is good.

Mercury shed her skin overnight perfectly. I actually just got up and heard her making ruckus so I caught her at the very end of her shedding. She went straight back into her lay box. I'm so happy .. cause she is full of lots of eggs and should lay in the next week or two.

Mercury did a great job :) So happy right now.. she laid a good large clutch of 23 healthy pearly white eggs today. Started around 7:30am and ended around 6pm tonight. She's very thin looking but still breathing and moving around for me so that is good.

Mercury's current after laying eggs... 10 days later with only eating 1 lg adult f/t mouse... in her she weighs now 460 grams. Before laying eggs weighed 665 grams.

Copulation with Kasper. I decided to do a second breeding and this time put Kasper in with my girl Mercury. She laid 23 eggs 4/4/2013 and has been eating very good for me so she should be good to do a second clutch.

Mercury is in her second pre-lay shed and should be laying a second clutch of healthy pearly whites in the next 2 weeks. Her first clutch is due to hatch between June 4-10.

Well, Mercury's eggs look like they should be hatching very very soon. The started sinking in on 5/25/2014- and now there are two eggs that are starting to sink in today 5/27/2014. I am so excited to see what they will be. This is the first clutch for her. :)

First clutch has not pipped yet but I'm expecting they will very very soon now since she just laid her second clutch today.

Wow, this is awesome. My girl Mercury is doing great so far. When I woke up this morning around 8am I checked and there were no eggs at that time. Now at 1pm this afternoon I went and checked on her again.. had a feeling she was going to lay very soon her second clutch and I found 8-9 awesome white eggs in her lay container.. she is still laying more at this time probably 2-4 more to lay.

Mercury's first clutch started pipping early this morning. I checked on them before going to the new house site all day and saw 5 babies poking out. Didn't get home tonight until a little after 5pm and checked again and have I think 7-8 pippies so far. Looks like normal babies and amels that I can see so far. :)

Second clutch started to pip today. Out of 12 eggs , 11 of them hatched. Kasper is the sire for sure. The results are 1 snow, 6 ghosts, 2 hypos, 1 hypo motley, 1 ghost motley. They all came out by 8/3/2014.
