Overview

Shadow and Ivan took forever to make a connection last night however, they did mate and for a good long while too once they were together. It lasted about 30 minutes and there was some nice evidence left behind from Ivan which I always believe is a good sign. I am absolutely thrilled about this pairing and glad they mated finally. I will put them together one more time and leave it at that and see what comes out of this pair. If Kasper is Shadow's father than she might be het motley and I know Ivan is probably %66 het motley since he's Kasper's offspring. I should get some nice babies from this pair.

	Even though I got Shadow and Ivan to mate successfully for me twice in Feb. I do not feel anything resembling eggs yet and she does not seem to be stretching out or showing any signs that she will lay eggs this season. The last time I fed her about 5 days ago she ate 2 fuzzies for me without any issues. So I'm questioning if she is going to lay this year.	Comments	3/11/2014

	Other than slower feeding response when feeding Shadow... she has shown no other signs to indicate she is gravid. :( Not sure if her mating with Ivan my coral snow male was sucessful. She has not turned opaque(blue) yet either.. but if she is gravid should be doing so very soon. It's been 31 days since her first and second mating with Ivan.	Comments	3/17/2014
	Shadow is most defianently opaque(blue) now and this should be her pre-lay shed. I have added a lay box for her and she is already using it so that is good. It is really hard for me to feel eggs in Shadow but I am hoping for the best, crossing my fingers.	Pre-Lay Shed	3/19/2014
	Shed skin in one piece. Still barely only can feel eggs.. but she should be gravid for sure... eggs should be laid in 7-14 more days.	Pre-Lay Shed	3/27/2014
	Shadow is still not really showing any signs of being gravid. I felt her belly again today and even though I think I feel something that might be eggs I'm not 100%. She is also not spending time in her lay box nearly as much as what I would expect a gravid female to do.	Comments	4/3/2014
