Breeding Project :

I know "Dirty" usually just refers to a patterned gecko who has spotting, but the goal of this pairing is a little different. We have been running this pair for a few seasons with very good results so far. Our goal here is the "little bit 'o everything" gecko. Bright colors, bold contrasts, and multi-colored spotting. We've come to expect lots of bright reds (although they have produced chocolate, yellow, and orange as well) from this pair with lots of pops of cream. Spotting on these are always multi-colored, often with spots inside of spots (like a red spot in the center of a black spot), and many of the kids form some obnoxiously huge ink blot spotting. I really don't know how Pretty On The Inside makes the babies that she does! There is no such thing as an ugly Pretty On The Inside baby! She's not much to look at (especially since she flat out refuses to fire up - EVER!), so I guess it must all be in the genes. Her siblings are all brightly colored with lots of multi-colored spotting & cluster spotting. A few sibs are super dalmatian as well...and very nice ones at that! Pairing her up with Harvey may seem odd - when you look at the two sitting next to each other, it doesn't seem like they'd make anything stellar - but because of the background of both parents, we gave it a shot & never looked back. I have never been disappointed by a baby from these two...and those babies have gone on to produce even more amazing offspring right on par with the brightness, spotting, and contrast that we always hope to achieve in our Dirty Project
