Breeding Project :

We've been running these two for a few seasons now and have been really impressed with the offspring. We're getting a lot of nice yellow base colors (just like mama's) and offspring are very heavily covered in well-sized black spots. So far we haven't seen any large ink blots from this pair, but the spotting tends to be well distributed over the entire body and they are a decent size (no tiny specks). Dad has multi-colored spotting as well as a fair amount of "oil" spotting. Mom has dominantly black spots with just a couple red. Babies tend to take after mom's spotting, dominantly black with the occasional red, orange, greenish, or oil spot. The babes who grow up to have the best yellow coloration usually start out with a fairly brown base color.
