Morph Information
The hypomelanistic gene is a simple recessive trait that was developed by Dwayne Richard, the gentleman who also gave us the albino western hognose. The hypomelanistic hognose will have a beautiful light tan ground color and rust brown blotches. The eyes will have light brown irises and dark brown pupils, their bellies will show pink and white and sometimes hues of lavender.
