Cause they rub their heads on parts of the cage, and it isn't good for them to be doing that. If there are things they can rub on really easily, removing them from the cage, or switching enclosures might be the best idea. Bella got that scar before she was rescued from poor conditions, and it has entirely healed now, as you can tell by her current pictures. She is in a boaphile where she cannot rub her head on anything and it has helped a lot.

Why do albinos get that scar on their forehead? mine does it too.
