This picture was taken the night I brought her home. I was soaking her in a tub, and treating her for mites. She and the male Longicauda had come from a keeper who was getting rid of their snake collection. They were infested with mites, but otherwise in good condition...though the male has a bad nose rub. These are the first boas I've ever had, and from the start I was struck by their beauty.
