Comments:	This captive-bred tarantula is my eldest daughter's recent acquisition. She has a slight phobia of spiders, but once she held this baby gold-knee she fell in love with it and had to spend her hard-earned money to bring it home. It still just looked rather like a fuzzy house spider at the time of this photo, but she is starting to get quite a bit larger already and is due for another photograph. She is fond of kicking hairs at the slightest disturbance, but has a voracious appetite.
