Comments:	Dendroaspis angusticeps was first described by Smith (1849) as Naja angusticeps. This East African species of mamba is found from Kenya south to the Natal region of South Africa, where it occurs in coastal areas. This specimen was a gift from a good friend of mine, and originally stems from Tanzania.
