Comments:	Some kids had bought him without parental permission, and when the shop owner wouldn't refund them, only take the animal back into his custody they had planned to abandon him. I gave the kids the number of a reptile rescue I had volunteered with and we successfully saved the animal, and after a lot of back and forth on whether I was allowed to have a snake I finally took possession of the snake myself and added him into my family.
