Comments:	Speckled red and orange Gargoyle. Female Purchased from a local breeder a year or more ago as a baby, Lil Piggy was a dear friend and pet here. It is with sad news that she has perished. There are two culprits, one is that she never laid any eggs while she appeared to be expanding due to egg development. It could be that she did not lay because of a lay box although one was given near the end of her tenure. A devastating heat wave hit the Bay Area in June 2017 and caused very high heat that was not able to be avoided. We brought in many fans and sprayed and provided ample paper towel yet she did not make it. At first a kinked tail appeared and sunken-in eyes. Within about 48 hours she was gone.
