That's a shame. Anything's worth a shot, though. If you haven't already heard about the humidity thing, you can find all the information you need at TortoiseForum.org. Especially look for the threads titled "The End of Pyramiding" by a member named Tom. It's compelling stuff, indicating that humidity is not just a good idea to prevent pyramiding, but key to raising strong, healthy hatchlings--even in arid climate species like Sulcatas... :) Anyway, glad to hear the sweet little thing found her way into good hands!

Unfortunately I do not believe her pyramiding is correctable. The only thing left to do is to give her adequate calcium, Vit. D3, and diet.

Poor thing. Care to share how you intend to stop the pyramiding? There's been a lot of talk on the 'net lately, especially on Tortoise Forum, about humidity and hydration playing a big role in preventing and sometimes even stopping pyramiding... Really compelling stuff, and makes a lot of sense even if it does contradict "past" wisdom. I'd like to hear how you approach this sort of thing. (I'm just a little bit of a tortoise fanatic, really.. lol!) :)

Yeah, she was rescued off of a local road here, some people brought her to me claiming it was a weird box turtle...Escapee no doubt
