I have my Calabar about a year ago, and I had no problems with him. He is doing well in captivity. He eats well (about 5 pinkies or fuzzies in every two weeks) and very active also during the day. They are pretty shy, so I take him out of the enclosure only when I have to clean it. Oh and he likes drinking very much, and having a "bath" before shedding! :) In my opinion it isn't more difficult to keep them in captivity than keeping sand boas, just Calabars are sensitive to stress. So I think it is worth buying some! :)

How are the Calabars to care for? I see several WC for sale, and just wondering if they feed well and thrive in captivity. I work with rosy, sand boa's and rubber boas and want to add these and New World Pythons
