Comments:	I got K2 from a local friend (Thomas Eimermacher, Nightflight99) in 2009. She was imported by a dealer in Louisiana as a subadult in 2007. She began to change color when I cycled her the first time. She produced my first chondro clutch in 2010, with offspring sired by both males she had been paired with (dual paternity, by SH04084 and my Aru male). She is currently paired with Justin Gentry's Dare (SH09121). He is a pure Kofiau from Rico's 2009 BHC x Canary clutch, sired by Gary Schiavino's one-of-a-kind "Black Headed Canary" (now deceased). BHC and one of his '09 offspring (owned by Ken Diehl) are the only melanistic Kofiaus I have ever seen. We are very excited about the possibility of producing pure Kofiaus and having new canaries to raise and work with. Very few people are consistently producing this locality. The BHC blood makes the potential offspring more interesting for the outcross projects we have in mind, and we will use them to continue producing pure Kofiaus as well.
