Comments:	FButtercup was given to me by an old acquaintance whose husband was deployed and she could no longer maintain her. We offered to take her in. 3 days after receiving Buttercup, during our research we had begun to notice that she was displaying signs of MBD. Buttercup's front feet were paralyzed and she could no longer climb effectively. After many months of hand feeding and calcium supplements, Buttercup can now properly use her front feet again, climb well, and is even able to climb glass again. She displays tell tale signs of her ordeal with MBD, including her twisted tail and swollen front legs. But she is in wonderful condition as of now, and we hope that she stays that way! Update: Buttercup and I decided that with her FTS and MBD, removing her tail was in her best interest to avoid future hip problems. I preformed the assisted drop on 6/17/11 and she is now more vibrant than ever! FINAL UPDATE: Buttercup was humanely put to sleep via CO2 chamber, due to a nasty fall which caused a rectal prolapse. We could no longer allow ourselves to be selfish and keep her to ourselves. She put up a fight, daily. She deserves to finally rest. We love you Buttercup... for everything you've inspired us to be. RIP Beautiful <3
