Birthdate: 3/19/2011

Comments: Such a sweetheart, but still just a teeny baby. Unfortunately though he is a very picky eater so we will be searching for things he likes and trying to get him on a nutritious staple.
We finally got our monitor we've been wanting all along! I'm so thrilled with him; he's an absolute doll.
(6/25)He's still pretty picky, but he is eating a consistent amount of snails and crickets daily. He really likes them crickets, and I'm so glad to see him so enthusiastic about food. He's got a nice little fat belly going now :)
(6/29) 7 3/4 inches :)
(07/11) Passed away. Found with mouth and stomach full of dirt, heart still beating and still breathing. His heart stopped before I could even find a herp vets number.

There is so much mixed information on these guys, I found it insane when i found out they like a basking spot of 130! My little guy has been calming down more and more and today was such a nice warm day he lounged around lol I love our little sav and I can't wait for a tegu but man they need space lol I am going to give our sav a cage just hardly smaller then my retics cages when they are adults! Remember to post pictures as it grows :)

crickets, roaches, eggs, wax worms, butter worms, horned worms, phoenix worms or silk worms. try them all and see what he eats then do a variety of them, ours eats mainly crickets and ill throw in eggs and a mealworm or a wax worm here and there.
