Comments:	Spot was a female who I rescued from an owner who neglected her. She was skinny and untrusting of people when she was given to me. It took over a year to get her to like me, and even though I gave her the proper care, she never gained enough weight back. She would gain in her stomach area and not in her tail or legs. Before she passed she stopped eating all-together and wasn't loosing any girth around her stomach. After a week of this I examined her completely and discovered a foreign body in her lover abdomen. I rushed her to the vet immediately, and he confirmed that it was a very large tumor. With her being in so much pain and being too old and weak to survive an operation, I had to get her put down. She was a very sweet girl, and very strong for surviving as long as she did.
