Animal Name: Sabre
Species: Texas Ratsnake
Elaphe obsoleta lindheimeri
Sex: Male
Morph: Blue-eyed Leucistic
Comments: This boy was my first snake, and though a little territorial and nippy when first taken out he calms down to be a really handleable snake.
I've had him since Oct. '10, his last shed measured just under 4ft.

Awesome. NA ratsnakes were one of my first herp passions, catalyzed by Texas rats I caught as a kid. I love the lucys. I just picked up 1.1 2011 hets, sired by a male caught in Mineral Wells, Texas (not far from here). They are completely unrelated to the existing line. -p-
