That's not true. I've been catching Texas ratsnakes my entire life. They have red tongues. This one does look quite hypo though, but not like the genetic hypo lines. Maybe a het. leucistic?

Nice, most likely a cross/intergrade between a Texas and Evergades rat. Texas rats in the wild don't have red tongues.
