Species:	Emerald Tree Boa Corallus caninus
Sex:	Female
Comments:	Corallus caninus is one of many species that were originally described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758. It was originally described as Boa canina, with the type locality "America". It occurs in Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Venezuela, and Brazil. I acquired this specimen as part of a CB09 pair in March of 2010. Unfortunately, the male developed a rectal prolapse and died in the Fall of that same year. Eventually, I need to replace that male, but for now this female is a lone warrior.
