Awesome. You added some juvie pics. She's a good example of how "red" Jayas and Cyclops often look very Biak-esque when they go into the orange phase of the change. -p-

Ha! You know me - I'm old school. Give me an exceptional wild type over the designer morphs any time. :-)

Cool. They both have great blue marking and white scale clusters. I think it would be a cool pairing. Plus, I know you like that male. I was showing you some crazy stuff, and you point at the "plain" Aru... "Ooh, that one is nice". I agree though. He's one of my favorite snakes I've ever owned. -p-

Sounds like a plan. I'll give you a buzz next week, and we'll talk about the details.

I love this girl! You need to let me send over my studly Aru for her... you know, the one that knocked up that ugly yellow snake I bought from that German dork. -p-

Agreed. I'll put my take on the whole M. viridis locality issue in a blog one of these days.

Cyclops Mountain is in the Jayapura region, as is Wamena. Red Jayas often resemble one or the other, just as yellow Cyclops and Wamenas resemble Jayas. I saw a photo recently taken from the Jayapura airport that said the mountain in the background was Cyclops Mountain. -p-

She was a farmed animal that came directly from the exporter in Indonesia a few years back.
