Comments:	Given to me in exchange for pet sitting in July of 2011. This wee little guy was supposedly 1-2 years old when I got him, and the size of a hatchling. He has grown so much since then, and is so much healthier and more active. Can't wait 'til he's a mini-giant... I successfully raised him through the first 1.5 yrs of growth using the "hot and humid" method. Clean water available at all times, and humidity kept as high as possible (other than the occasional busy week where misting got neglected). Soaked every day to every other day, and ambient temperatures in his enclosure above 79F at all times. He's since outgrown anything I can keep hot/humid indoors, and spends most of his time out in the hot, dry CA weather. But that year and a half of humidity and frequent forced soaks kicked him off on the right foot--his shell is still coming in smooth and beautiful! (He does still have unrestricted access to fresh water--I just don't keep up on humidity and forced soaks like I used to. The effect of this can be seen in his slowed growth rate.)
