I found out Keelin is spelled Quilin... So this is a Quilin! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin

The Dwarf only gets around 5 to 7 feet from what I understand. Quilin is somewhere around 5 feet ... no more than 6.

where did you find a dwarf burmese python never heard of one and how big do they get?

Keelin is a lap girl. She won't dance at all. She does not like being up and does not like to hang. She's not a bad climber and has good balance, but she has a habit of backing up and sliding from my shoulders into my lap. Now, there she will stay cuddled in a blanket for hours! She is very calm and has a wonderful calming effect on people, so she's a great therapy snake, or great for education demos. But a dancer? lol, she's got two left belly scales!

do you dance with her too? She's really pretty

Keelin is probably full grown. I am not sure of her age, but I'm guessing around 5. She might be 6 feet? I'll have to measure her. She was given to me by a lady that was very ill and could not take care of her anymore. She's such a lap snake!

That'd be great! I may be able to own a burmese python if it's a dwarf...definitely couldn't handle a normal sized one :D

Thank you! :) The subject of dwarf snakes is kinda tricky. It all depends on how much "dwarf" (smaller subspecies) has been bred in. Huge topic! I might post more on it later! :)

What a beautiful snake! I don't know much about the dwarf species...how big do they get compared to their "normal" types?
