My Reptile Interests
Used to take in rescues. Cats, dogs, birds, etc. But I have 3 kids with athma and allergies. Thought my pet days were over. Then along came a cornsnake that needed a home. Thats where it all began. Now we take in reptile rescues. We currently have corn snakes, milksnakes, a few kingsnakes, 2 hognose snakes, and 2 baby black racers. We also have 2 turtles, 3 geckos, 2 frogs, and 2 skinks. We started keeping snakes in 2007. Most of what we have is rescues. Only a few were bought. Once we started, we just couldnt stop. :o) Herping is addicting. We joined the Jax Herp Society about a year ago. You should check it out. www.jaxherp.com We have met alot of great people who share an interest in herps. We have done some field herping and really enjoyed it. We went camping at Ocean pond with some fellow herpers and had a great time. You should join us sometime! :o)
Other Interests
We love to go camping, and hiking. I love to read and draw and paint. I volunteer as the secretary of the Jax Herp Society, and I volunteer at my kids school too. Ricks hobbies include electronics, and blowing things up. :o)
