Comments:	I purchased this female Great Basin Gopher snake het for blonde from Jason Nelson of Envy Reptiles (www.envyreptiles.com). The blonde morph is brand new and the babies I bought from Jason are I believe from the first year he sold some of the blonde morph babies to the public. Here is what he said over email when I asked him about the discovery of the blonde morph: A friend of mine from Phelan CA about 9 years ago caught a gravid Great Basin Gopher in his yard. He kept her so he could hatch out the eggs for fun. He released the girl after she laid. She laid 10 eggs. 3 out of the clutch hatched out Blondes. He gave me a pair of blondes. I think the Blonde is a form of Hypo. I should know a little more this summer after and do more test breeding, plus have a better opinion. Still a real new project.
