I'll have to try that. Lately whenever I've gone to Hyvee, I head to the back and pick up some salmon fillet, catfish nuggets, or large shrimp. He went pretty nuts for the shrimp this week.

Try the frizen tailess shrimp at walmart it like 5.00 for a 150 count. My turtles go NUTS ove them.

I've had Dredge since he was a hatchling, about the size of a half dollar. Now he's up to about 10" SCL. Yes, those are greens that he's playing with. I always try to offer him a variety of foods, but he doesn't like to eat his vegetables too often. This picture, he was playing with the greens, and you can see he was tearing up part of my filter again. I normally offer him Mazuri turtle chow, some greens, and lean meats. I pick up some catfish or salmon at the store every week or two, and try to catch crawfish for him. They do enjoy having live prey to entertain themselves with. You need to put some pictures up of your snapper sometime.

Cool. I have a juvenile (3-4") that I rescued. I was gonna release it, but I've grown attached. It eats from my fingers. What is that it's eating, some greens? I've been feeding mine Zoo Med aquatic turtle juvenile formula and superworms. I'm gonna start offering it guppies and rosies for exercize and extra protein and calcium. -p-
